As a result, there have been suggestions to employ solid-state interferometers that rely on semiconductors and graphene. However, in the case of monolayer graphene, its quasiparticles exhibit a linear dispersion, thus making the Sagnac effect in graphene comparable to that of for light. We investigate the Sagnac effect in the Dirac materials governed by the relativistic dispersion law and find the value of the fringe shift. The analysis reveals that optimal sensitivity is achieved in materials featuring a reduced value of Fermi velocity. Notably, the sign of the fringe shift depends on the nature of the charge carriers -- whether they are electrons or holes.
